The day had finally come. The day Saya emerged from her hibernation had finally come. Kai had thought he would never see those crimson red eyes for another 10 more years. But David told him that somehow Saya is awakening. He was really happy, but at the same time his heart was aching a little. He ignored it and told the twins that their aunt is waking from her sleep. "Aunt Saya is waking?? That's great!!" they had said.
That morning, before the sunrise, Kai took a walk at the beach. It was a breezy day. Kai felt the ocean breeze as he closed his eyes. Images of Saya played in his mind. He opened his eyes. Sunrise. The morning sun shone on the ocean giving it amazing sight. Kai sat on the beach and admired it. It had been so long since he had the chance to see the sunrise. He had kept himself busy the pass few years with the twins and the work in Omoro. He hardly had the chance to take a walk at the beach. Now that, Saya is awake, maybe he should take some time off to accompany her... Why is my gut aching?? Was it something that I ate??
"Kai!! Kai!!" yelled one of the twins from above. Kai looked up and saw the twins, David, Julia and their son, Lewis and Kaori. Kai stood up and walked up to the group. He ignored the pain and followed the group to the family's grave. I'm happy to see her again...

The cocoon cracked. Saya opened her eyes slowly. Standing in front of her was none other than Hagi. Her Chevalier. Saya's smiled weakly and said in a hoarse voice, "Hagi..."
"We meet again, Saya..." Hagi pulled out a knife and cut his own hand so that Saya could drink his blood.

As the group reached the family grave, they found Saya had already awakened. They were surprised to find Hagi too. Everyone in the group gathered around Saya and Hagi. Kai was the only one who stood there without moving a muscle. The sight of Saya made the pain in his gut grew. He now understand what were that feeling he had a few days ago.
As he was lost in his own thoughts, a voice interrupted him.
"Kai?" Kai looked up and saw those crimson red eyes looking back at him. She had not changed at all… "Hey." was all Kai could manage to say.
"Erm... How... How are you??" Saya asked.
"Never better." Before Saya could say another word, Kai close the distance between them and hugged her.
"Welcome back, Saya."
"I... I miss you, Kai..." Saya said as tears of joy rolled down her cheeks.
"I miss you too, little sister..." They broke off as Kai ruffled Saya's hair playfully.
"Hey!!" Saya giggled as she tried to fix her hair. Kai smiled at that sight.
"Come on, Saya... Let's go home... I'll make you something to eat…"
Saya... You will always be my little sister...
