"Somewhere in Eternity"
Somewhere in Eternity,
There is a crystal moon,
A gentle blaze
Within your gaze
That lights the darkest gloom.
Somewhere in Eternity,
There is a land serene.
And you are there
An image fair;
My timeless reverie.
Somewhere in Eternity,
My yearning dreams come true.
Your magic dance
Holds me entranced
With visions wrought by you.
Somewhere in Eternity,
Your lyric songs are heard.
Illusions of
Your endless love
Etched in every word.
Somewhere in Eternity,
The secrets of my soul,
Will be revealed;
My heart unsealed
By your enthralling hold.
Somewhere in Eternity,
Held by your eyes of blue,
I'll sing a song
Of lands beyond,
And there, I'll wait for you.
A/N: Originally posted to the Labyrinth Mailing List on Sep 14, 1997 (many thanks to Lady Amethyst who keeps an archive of those things posted so long ago). This is, perhaps, my favorite and most fluid of the poems I wrote regarding Labyrinth those many years ago at the age of 17. I will upload others from my Labyrinth vein of inspiration gradually, but this one is, by far, the best of the group in my humble opinion.
At present, I have three fanfics in progress, but until I have a significant portion of them written, they will be waiting in the wings. I just felt I should attach something of myself to my account here, small and insignificant though it may be. Thanks for reading!
