The cream sheets pooled gently around her waist as Mercedes rolled over on to her stomach. The gentle morning sun was nudging the sleep from her eyes and warmed her bare back. She let out a soft sigh and shut her eyes, keeping the troubles and complications of the world out for the time being. She felt soft butterfly kiss being trailed up her spine and smiled as she slowly opened her eyes. She saw his bare chest first, it's sculpted form perfected from hours of working out and his muscular, comfortable arms that she had spent the night wrapped up in. She saw her Sam. She slowly rolled over, pulling the sheet with her to reserve her modesty, although after last night it was unnecessary
"Good morning." He whispered as though fearful the speaking to loud would wake them from this dream. He sat next to her, his hands trailing circular patterns over her left shoulder, his green eyes staring at her, as though drinking in her very soul. She smiled a soft honest smile and reached her hand out to cup his cheek, she let her thumb trail over his cheek bone before letting her hand fall to his collarbone, where she ran her palm over his chest, eventually letting it rest over his heart, feeling the steady constant beat.
"Good Morning Sammy." She whispered back.
Sam leaned down and covered her mouth with his, his tongue nudging her lips and her willingly granting him access to her mouth before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him on top of her. Sam's lips soon moved along her jawline, down her neck and to her shoulders and collarbone and back up to her plump lips, all the while whispering of his want for her, his need for her, his complete and total adoration of her. As he settled himself between her thighs, fitting comfortably and perfectly, as though made for each other, he paused and looked at her, his strong, intense green eyes meeting her soft, comfortable chocolate ones.
"I love you." He whispered. He'd told her repeatedly last night, over and over in fits of lust and passion, but now, there was no frenzy of emotions or rush of hormones, this time, when those three words passed his lips, Mercedes forgot everything and truly believed.
"I love you too." She whispered back, and he kissed her. As they continued to explore each other and recreate some of the more pleasurable experiences from last night Mercy allowed herself to forget. To forget that her parents would be home soon, or Sam would be late to work, or that she had spent the night making love to a boy who loved and adored her, and she loved and adored, but also they boy that was leaving in 3 days. All she knew, all she remembered, was that she was Mercedes and he was Sam and that they loved each other. That's all that really mattered.
