Dr. Spencer Reid was currently sitting in his living room in his apartment in slacks and a sweater vest (A/N: which he pulls off better than anyone else could) while reading. The book he was reading was, ironically, Twilight. He had his legs crossed as he leaned over the armrest to read the words printed on the white pages that were illuminated with the reading lamp that was hovering over the book. He was near the end, and he stiffened, his reading getting even faster than normal, if that was possible, seeing how big the possibility was that Bella dies.

His toe nudged my broken leg and I heard a piercing scream. With a shock, I realized it was mine.

Reid widened his eyes and thought, 'Well, Bella obviously doesn't die, because there are still there more books after this, so why am I feeling like this? It's common knowledge that she stays alive.'

Reid kept repeating this to himself until he turned the page, which was only 1.45 seconds later. He shook his head and sighed. 'Of course the 'Angel' they so speak about in the chapter name is Edward, because this is from Bella's point of view, and she views Edward as an angel so much, even though he is obviously so very fictional. I mean, there isn't many stories in which the vampire sparkles instead of burns in the sun.'

Nonetheless, he kept reading and sighed in relief when he got to the part that said, '"Carlisle!" because what was also common knowledge was that the doctor could fix just about anything, and if he couldn't fix this one, then he would change her.

He got to the next chapter and knew that she was saved because she was in a hospital. It was just cute, typical teenage fluff in the next few pages, and Reid closed the book with a slight smile on his face.

When JJ had suggested that he read the book, he expected it to be some kind of crappy writing about a vampire and human girl that fall in love and live happily ever after. Of course, until Edward changes Bella and she goes crazy with thirst, then kills so many people that Edward is forced to kill her.

But it was different, and Reid liked it. He smiled that small smile of his, tilted his head, and nodded. He was snapped out of his ever-going thoughts when his phone rang. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He saw the caller ID and answered the phone with a cheery, "Hello, JJ."

When she replied, he could hear the smile in her voice. "Why, hello, Spence. I'm guessing you finished the book?"

"Of course."

"And? What did you think?"

"Well, it is highly unlikely that there are sparkling vampires all over the world, and the venom would have definitely killed Bella by the time the others showed up at the end, especially considering how many open injuries she had. But other than that, it was surprisingly good."

"Yeah?"

"Mmhhm."

"Well, I don't want to say it, but I told you so."

"Shut up. I'm getting the other books now," Reid snapped immediately after JJ finished talking.

He snapped the phone shut and then slipped his shoes on over his unmatched socks. Grabbing his keys, he walked out the door and to his old car.

Meanwhile, two miles away, JJ was laughing as she shared her recent experience with Garcia over the laptop. While Reid was reading, the two who challenged him to do so we're laughing at his reaction to the first book.

A/N: Ahh, this was just an idea from the whim. A short one-shot. In fact, my only one-shot. If you can, favorite and review, it makes my day every time! Bye-bye, my lovelies!
