Tris POV:
A cool breeze and the morning sun shine though the open window in Tobias's apartment. I can hear the faint sound of birds chirping in the distance on far away roof tops-a rare sound in dauntless. To make things even better I can feel Tobias's arms wrapped around me as I begin to drift back to sleep.
"Tris, Tris wake up." Tobias says softly as he shakes my shoulder, I open my eyes.
"Hey." I smile.
He smiles back, "It's 8:30, you've gotta be in the dining hall by 10:00."
We have to decide our jobs today. I have no idea what I'm going to choose, all I know is that I want to train transfer initiates with Tobias and that I don't want to be a dauntless leader-it would be too hard to see members of my old faction.
"Decisions, decisions."I sigh as I roll over. "Did you know what job you were gonna to choose?"
Tobias shakes his head, "Not a clue. I just didn't want to become a leader."
I simply nod as I get up and stretch. Its only obvious that he wouldn't want to become a leader because of his Dad.
"Do you have know what you want to do?" Tobias asks.
"Um, I want to train transfers with you, but don't know whether to work in the tattoo parlour or become a nurse." I shrug.
"You'd be a good nurse considering you're from Abnegation, although they do work alongside Erudite which may be difficult because don't like their principles, plus I don't know how you would feel potentially working alongside your brother." Tobias explains as he sits on the edge of the bed.
"Didn't think about that."
"Plus nurses work long shifts, we'd never see each other and I wouldn't be able to cope." Tobias smiles, his eyes twinkle.
"Have I mentioned that I love you."
"I love you too."
"Well" I stand up, "I'd better get ready , I promised Christina I'd meet her beforehand."I say, walking towards the bathroom door. "Plus you know how Candor are with promises."
I look behind me to see Tobias secretly laughing, he has a beautiful smile.
