This is my FIRST fan-fiction ever so please review brutally but in a nice way.
CHAPTER 1
Master Fung strolled into the corridors of the temple. "Xiaolin Warriors, follow me please."
The dragons exchanged anxious eyes. It was months since the warriors had a quest to do or a Shen-Gong-Wu to retrieve.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! Do you have a quest for us Master Fung?" Omi was so ecstatic that if he was any happier than he would probably explode.
"Yes, I do Omi. Now settle down and I will give you the details."
The four of them sat patiently giving Master Fung their undivided attention.
"I have a confession to make." He sighed, "There is a fifth dragon."
"WHAT?!" screamed Omi, "Isn't it enough to have four dragons? Do we really need a fifth one?"
"Yes, we do Omi, the dragon's arrival is vital. As I was saying, we have not yet found the last dragon. We have sent some of our best monks to search for the young one, but even they have failed. We now have no choice but to send you four."
Kimiko seemed puzzled. "But I don't understand, why tell us this now?"
"I expected that the monks would find the dragon. But I seem to be proven false, so now it will be your job to find fifth dragon."
"Is it a girl? I hope not, we do not need anymore incompetence on our team." Omi hoped.
"HEY! Watch it." Kimiko was really ticked at Omi. Her face turned red and gave him a glare deadlier than Medusa's.
Clay was still confused and asked, "But how exactly do we find this person, it is going to be harder than finding a needle in a haystack."
"The oracle has given us a prophecy to aid you in your quest." Master Fung replied.
"So let's hear it and we go fetch the last dragon." Raimundo was almost as anxious as Omi.
"Agreed." Master Fung began to recite the prophecy.
" The dragon of lightning is in the city that never rests
One will retrieve what you came for and leave for conquest
A dragon will take back the prize
To take an enemy on the journey would be unusually wise
By a fight for freedom, a warrior will vanish
A hero shall hide a feeling that will never anguish."
After hearing the last line, Raimundo hesitantly glanced at Kimiko for a moment and gulped.
