Hello! I'm back with another Katie Oliver fic!! I hope you like it!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's pretty amazing. It's unbelievable. It's a little irritating. It's great. It's horrible.
--
It went as quickly as it came.
The sudden jolt of electircity, caused by the slightest touch of his skin. It literally stopped me in mid-step, and I fell forward. I just barely caught myself, my face growing an odd shade of red that was, was, once foreign to me. I could see him stop, and turn quickly, bending down next to me, "You okay Bell?"
I struggled to maintain a normal tone, "F - fine," I stood, "Sorry, Captian, I'd better get going. Can we discuss this later?" I looked up, my face in a carefully cultivated expression of calm, and took in his brown eyes. Slightly put-off at how uneasey they made me. And even more put-off at how someone's eyes could be so tepid. And looking up at them, I felt suddenly... insignificant.
"Sure, I'll see you at practice - keep thinking it over. We need all our chasers in top condition for the Slytherin game."
I nodded, watching him walk off, slightly dumbfounded, and wanting, more than ever, to make that feeling go away. To seem important in his eyes.
--
It came as quickly as it went.
The lovely tingle that came as his arm grazed mine. It no longer stopped me mid-step, but I could still feel my heart quicken ever-so-slightly. I could feel my pulse race, and my body sqiurm inwardly under his gaze. I could lose myself in the warmth of his eyes, which I had finally decided were the color of a broomstick, with the same gorgeous glow. Or to hear him say my name, enveloping it inthe soft sound of his voice, tinged with the accent I could only place with him, and not even reprocate i my dreams.
Love.
It's pretty amazing. It's unbelievable. It's a little irritating. It's great. It's horrible.
But it's all worth it.
Especially when I feel his lips crash into mine. Or when I taste the light sheen of sweat on his skin. Or when he wraps his arm around me, whispering my nerves away before a big match. Or when I feel the same jolt of electricity I did when we first met, years ago. Or when I hear him say, "Kates, I love you," and see him look down at me, and feel that he's my everything, and I'm not at all insignificant.

Yeah, the end's a clichee, but I hope you guys liked it!!! This was also written pretty late... it's... 2:18 right now. I guess inspiration hits most when i'm tired.
