Just a little poem I wrote. It's about Holly Black's 'Tithe', written in a solitary fey's point of view. Disclaimer: Holly Black owns 'Tithe' and all other friggin masterpeices of gothic faeire works. No ownage what so ever. So yeah, enjoy.
Butterfly with angel wings
and as the world turns
the clock ticks sings
A morning's breath
will follow close her death
and once again my chains
will unbind me,
free.
Free as a bird,
Free to play,
Free to seek revenge,
and free to seek avenge.
Free for seven years
that debt has been paid...
and all because of the blood not laid
on the Iron that day.
Wispsof breath that I might have
for me
A solitary fey.
Because I'm free...
Free as a
Butterfly with angel wings...
