A/N: So this is my first fanfiction in a long time. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update because I have a 9 month old who keeps me on my toes. Please point out any errors, I'm typing most of this up on my phone than publishing it. Please review and let me know what you think! Constructive criticism is appreciated.
Disclaimer: I do not nor will I ever own Doctor Who. I only own my OC Tech.
Prologue
"I told you! It's broken there's no point in even trying to open it!" I snap at the man who abducted me. Yes abducted, I was just walking down the street minding my own business, when suddenly some weirdo in a tan trench coat grabs a hold of me, and strarts dragging me down an alley way. The whole time prattling on about how my husband is at it again and how it was time for me to stop being human. Whatever the hell that meant.
"Humour me," trench coat replies sounding exasperated.
I glare at him while fiddling with the golden fob watch that had previously been around my neck. "Why should I?" I asked. "You kidnapped me."
"I-I didn't kidnap you," trench coat splutters.
"Yes you did!" I shout. "But here just to prove my point." I press the button on top of the watch, it pops open with a click, I only have a second to feel embarrassed before gold shimmering whisps take over me.
"Tech! Tech, are you alright?" the man who kidnapped me while I was human is crouched beside me and shaking my shoulders.
"Doctor, if you don't let go of me this instant in going to murder you," I groan as memories flood over me.
Galifrey's red pastors, double suns, and beautyful trees. Starting the academy, making friends with two boys both a year older than me. Looking into the untemempered skism and feeling the distinct urge to help make the universe better through creating things. Graduating the academy, marrying Koschei, running to see the stars.
"Damn it, my head hurts," I moan as the Doctor helps me up.
"It's good to have you back," his voice is laced with sincerity and his smile is bright, "despite the circumstances."
"Yeah, what has that idiot done now?" I ask as we walk down the street.
"Well, he tole my TARDIS, became prime minister, and is trying to take over the world," he replies taking as we take a turn down a small street.
"Is that all?" I ask. "Because that sounds pretty standard for him."
"Well," the Doctor drawls out, "there is one other thing."
"Stopping beating around the bush."
"He married a human woman."
I stop dead in my tracks. "Please, repeat that," my voice sounds eerily calm even to me.
"He married a human woman," the Doctor repeated stopping as well, looking extremely uncomfortable.
"I am going to kill him," I snarl out.
