Agatha gazed out her dorm room window at the School of Evil across the Lake, she wondered if her childhood friend Sophie was doing the same. Agatha's gaze turned to the pink floral room she was now forced to live in with disgust, she just wanted to return to her house in the cemetery and see her pet cat Reaper again.

She didn't belong in the School of Good, she wasn't meant to be a Princess. That was Sophie's lifelong dream, but the stupid School Master had kidnapped them from their village and forced the two friends in to opposing schools, one for Heroes and one for the Wicked. He had even had the audacity to tell them that Good and Evil can never be friends, that the only way one can be happy is if they kill their nemesis and graduate into a fairytale like Jack, Rapunzel and all the other kidnapped children before them.

Then, worst of all, were the children who had failed, the poor children who had become animals or worse, objects like the poor boy who had been transformed into the magic bean which Jack grew into the Beanstalk, or the little girl who became Cinderella's pumpkin carriage. Agatha couldn't understand how the other students could walk through the Gallery of Good and not feel terrified of the consequences of failure at this school. Too many of the Students from Good dreamed of becoming the next Prince or Princess and earning their Happy Ever After by killing the students at the School of Evil. Meanwhile, the Students of Evil were dreaming of ruling kingdoms, creating plagues and casting curses. These two schools were truly horrible, pitting students against each other, just so new fairytales could be written. Agatha's mind was made up, she had to rescue Sophie and get them both out of this place.
