All the Friends, Always

Author's Note: Not something I really want to elaborate on where it came from. I just hope where this came from resolves itself…I'll probably add a chapter whenever the issue progresses. It's my way of venting how I feel about what's happening…

Chapter 1:What is Happening?

Two pairs of eyes. One a sparkling shade of dark brown, the other a glimmering copper tone. Two girls- Ember Shinaba and Nira Tucker. They both boarded at the academy, and seemed to have a history with each other as friends. They were the best of friends. And they were pretty friendly to some others too. Recently, their pair became a trio. The third player? - Yumi Ishiyama. She had befriended them recently. Recently, she began to see less and less of her normal group of friends as Ember and Nira cut her off right before she reached them every time. Yumi began to feel like Ulrich, one of her friends in her group, was ignoring her. She found him sitting on a bench sitting by himself one day and casually walked up to him, as if his behavior wasn't bothering her.

"I hope you realize that ignoring me won't help anything," she said to him. She wanted to say it before she second-guessed herself into saying nothing at all.

"Why do you think I'm ignoring you?" Ulrich asked.

"You've been blowing me off all week," Yumi pointed out.

"Yea, because you've been blowing US off all week," he replied.

"Sorry…."she said, a bit quietly. Her eyes were down in thought, then looked back to him.

"No, no, we're all happy that you're making new friends, Yumi, trust me. We've been going off to give you your space," Ulrich told her.

"Glad you feel that way…"Yumi muttered in reply.

"But, just because you have new friends doesn't mean you can forget about your old ones. Remember that, because that's what's been happening recently," he added to his previous statement.

"I'm sorry…I'll try not to," Yumi replied, the honesty of her statement glinting in her eyes. She decided not to let flow the many thoughts that were buzzing around in her mind. What she wanted to say is that she would include her friends if her new friends would too. It was that she had nearly burst into tears and punched something out of the frustration of seeing her closest friends slip away. She tried to get to her old friends, but her new friends were always in front of her first as her old friends just kept walking past. It was that she appreciated always getting noticed by her new friends, and she loved them as well, but her old friends never even tried to participate with her newer ones. This is what annoyed her the most.
