A/N: This in is a really complicated alternate universe thing that I was planning on writing about, but you know. Oreos.
I don't own anything but Sophia.
Oreos really were the solution to everything, Sophia decided. She thought about the small package that had started it all. She hadn't been particularly hungry when she received it as a care package, and she never really ate anything sweet. So she decided to give one to everyone who could potentially hate her. That way, she could show that she didn't hate them.
So she gave a few to George Weasley, - whom she secretly had a crush on - Draco Malfoy, and a few other Slytherins. Draco had never had an Oreo, and Sophia almost literally had to force him to eat it. He then asked for more, but in a dignified "I'm a pureblooded Slytherin and you're a halfblooded Ravenclaw" way. It was pretty funny, but that wasn't what was important.
What was important was what happened after dinner. Fred cornered her and dragged her into an empty classroom.
There, waiting right inside the door, was George. Fred left, closing the door behind him.
Sophia sighed, putting up the mask of hate that she always had to put up around him. "WHAT do you want, Weasley?"
He ran his hand through his hair - a habit she had always loved - and then replied. "This," he said, pulling her up to him, leaning down (a lot), and kissing her. She linked her arms around his neck and kissed back enthusiastically. "I've been wanting to do that for a while now," he said, breathing heavily.
She smiled a little. "Me too." She pulled him down into another kiss. This one was longer, but George cut it short once again.
"Will you go out with me?" he asked her.
She giggled. "Yes. Yes!"
And the next day, they got a ton of weird looks. George and Sophia, the two people who hated each other the most, were holding hands and smiling. Ginny saw them, screamed "Finally!" and stormed away, yelling that Fred owed her 5 galleons. George started calling Sophia "Phia" and she loved it. There was always a spot for her at the Gryffindor table, right next to George.
But eventually, all the weird looks faded away. It was just George and Sophia. They dated on and off for the next few years. If George was dating someone else, that someone knew that it wasn't serious, and the same with Sophia. They were completely in love with each other.
After school and the war ended, Sophia got a special place at the Weasley table for when she went to dinner there. No one was surprised when George proposed. Sophia of course said yes, and their wedding was beautiful, the only said part being that Fred wasn't there to be best man.
Sophia's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. Ginny popped in, holding a small bundle. "You ready?"
Sophia nodded. "Absolutely."
"Okay,Ginny said, coming over in order to give the small bundle to Sophia. "I'd like you to meet Fred Weasley II."
And as she looked down at the tiny little redheaded baby in her arms, she thought about the entire reason she had this. Oreos.
