When you were born, you were born as a lonely soul.
Just one.
All by yourself.
Your soul was given a body.
Your body had two legs, two arms, two eyes, two ears, two of everything.
The things that didn't have two, were put right in the middle.
Except your heart…
It is believed, by some, that you have two hearts, the only problem is,
Your other one was given to someone else.
Remember that lonely soul?
Well it has a companion as well. A perfect match.
A mate.
A soul mate.
Do you believe in soul mates?
She was born in a faraway land. Most would not call it "beautiful". No spring flowers, no winter snowflakes, no fall leaves. Just a constant summer. A constant heat. Nothing but sand. But it was home to her, and to her, it was beautiful.
He was born on the home front, the "all-American boy". A rich daddy, he got everything he wanted. But he never got what he really needed. No one ever bothered to love him. But weather he liked it or not, it was where he lived, so it was home.
They say home is where the heart is. Their hearts were never with their fathers. She was raised not to show emotion. He was raised to not know emotions. Both naïve, not knowing that that was not how children were meant to be.
Can you imagine a little girl, being punished for shedding a single tear? For being encouraged to fight and defeat when provoked?
Can you imagine a little boy, treated as a soldier? Being taught that if he needed something, to get it himself, because asking daddy would only get him in trouble?
She was born in a faraway land, and for awhile it was home. She was sent on a mission, and she failed. That failure was the best thing that could have happened to her. Her home became this new, foreign land. With him.
He never knew anything different, but when he met her, this place he once called home suddenly became very foreign. And just quickly, it became home again. With her.
She had wondered about soul mates once…
Maybe it wasn't too late.
Yeah I know its kinda cliché and everyone's done it, but I don't hate it and I needed a break. New chapter of stcam out sometime in the undefined near future. Reviews not needed but are appreciated, including constructive criticism.
