Hey guys, another one-shot.

Sorry about not updating Digimon or W.I.T.C.H. Gx! I've been having a combination of work, school, work, life, and work. That mixed with some writer's block ends up with several months without updates. I'll try to get back to them ASAP.

In the meantime, here's another Ben 10 story I've thought about. This is set in the Omniverse portion of the story, though it can take place before.

Summary: You don't need one to read this story!

(Story Begin)

Ben 10 had always been able to find the right transformation for nearly any situation. Be it Heatblast, Fourarms, Rath, Ditto, Bloxx, or even Grav Attack, he had a form for just about any situation. But, there was one form above all else he liked more than any of them. He liked it better than Fourarms, better than Diamond Head, Swampfire or Humongousaur, even Way Big couldn't compare to this guy.

Feedback

Feedback was by far his best Alien. He knew Feedback better than the others, even the first ten that he first had access to. It didn't make sense logically, or at least he didn't care about it making sense. He just liked Feedback. Feedback became apart of him, was apart of him. After foolishly using him one too many times, he lost Feedback, against Malware of all foes. When he saw Feedback from the outside and not in a mirror, he felt torn, broken, like he just lost part of his soul.

For many years he didn't understand it. Why did Feedback feel like half of him? He just didn't have an answer; at least, not for four years. It wasn't until a chance meeting with Grandma Verdona (maybe not even chance, given his history) that he started to understand, or at least gain the other piece of the puzzle he needed.

Heck, even then he still didn't fully understand it, he just knew that he was ¼ Anodite, but that didn't have any connection to his Conductoid Alien, or did it? For a long time he was confused as to how his bloodline, his Anodite DNA was tied to the Conductoid's. It wasn't until he got Feedback back that he truly understood. It wasn't that they were connected, but were a parallel, like a Metaphor.

Gwen's power over Mana was to absorb, amplify, and redirect Mana. Feedback's power was absorbing, amplifying, and redirecting electrical power. It was the same thing, two parallels that were exchangeable, depending on who you were talking about.

"He's apart of me," he had said.

Feedback is apart of him, and now he understood just how that connection worked. And he would never forget it, not ever.

(Story End)

Well, what do you think? Does it make sense, or am I just writing nonsense? Let me know in a review. As for the character filter, there ARE four available, but the ones I picked were for the specific reason of connecting between them. Nothing romantic. So, now that this is out of the way, I might be able to get back to Digimon.

Until then…

Later,
