I decided to write this because I was bored and it was raining today. But I think I am going to write a few more short chapters about other stories in the rain.
Alice POV
Meeting Jasper in that Philadelphia Diner was one of the most special memories in my life. When we left the diner we found a hotel to stay in, even though we barely knew each other, we felt a deep connection.
In the hotel room I had just gotten out of my shower, and was wrapped in a towel, when there was a crack of thunder. The whole time I had been in Philadelphia it had been raining. I screamed and ducked down on the floor. Jasper came running out of the other room to see what was wrong.
"Alice are you okay?" He said kneeling next to me on the floor.
"Yeah, thunder scares me." I said quietly. I got up and quickly went to go change into my sleep shorts and tank top.
When I came out there was a flash and another crack of lightening, I screamed again. Jasper immediately ran to my side and wrapped his arms around me. I buried my head in his chest, while whimpering. Normally I was always in a good mood and never sad or mad. But right now I was scared. This was rare too.
"Alice the thunder isn't going to hurt you." Jasper told me kissing me on the top of the head. I nodded, but it didn't change the fact that I was still scared. "Come on." He said. He unwrapped his arms from around me but kept holding my hand.
Jasper led me to the bed, where I climbed in and hid under the covers. Jasper sat next to me. There was another crack of thunder. I gave a little scream not as afraid as I was. Jasper made everything better, I felt completely safe with him.
I popped my head out from under the covers. I must have looked pretty funny because I could tell Jasper was trying to hold back laughter.
"What?" I asked.
"You look like a floating head." He said laughing, which made me laugh, I forgot about the weather outside until there was another flash, and a crashing noise soon after. I knew that meant the storm was getting closer. I scooted closer to Jasper, and rested my head on his chest while he stroked my hair.
"Jasper?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't feel afraid anymore." I told him.
"Why is that?"
"Because you're here." Jasper smiled and kissed my forehead.
I closed my eyes even though we didn't sleep. For the rest of the night Jasper and I asked each other questions and talked about our pasts. I had forgotten about the storm outside, although I could still hear the rain pelting the windows.
PLEASE review and tell me if you have any ideas for chapters.
