Hello! I'm back with another, hopefully better, story. I am going to try to make this one longer than the last. Please enjoy!
The Thorn in My Side
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
The alarm went off with its usual obnoxious shrill. Kagome shot up from her bed and slammed her hand down on the button to stop it from ringing. With a groan, she rose up from bed to get ready for the day. To wake herself up, Kagome started with a morning shower. The hot water against her skin woke her up and also made her feel refreshed. She got out and blow-dried her hair just a little so it would dry in a way pattern. She slipped on her underwear and clothes before heading downstairs.
"Kagome! Breakfast is ready!" Her mother yelled. Kaori Higurashi prepared omelets for Kagome and Souta, her brother.
"Coming mom!" she yelled down the stairs. Kagome dashed down the stairs to wolf down her favorite breakfast. As soon as she made it to the table, she began to devour the omelet.
"Slow down Kagome, you'll choke" Souta laughed.
Kagome looked at her little brother with playful annoyance, but continued eating. After finishing, she tossed the dishes in the sink and began getting ready to head to school.
"I'm off I'll see you later mom and Souta you better hurry or you'll be late!" She yelled. After leaving her house, Kagome started walking to school. She had a car, but preferred to walk to get in her morning exercise. She was enjoying her walk until; she bumped into someone's back.
"Hey wench you can't be that clumsy watch were you're going." A voice snapped. Kagome snapped her head up to see none other than Inuyasha. He was extremely good looking, long silver hair, gold eyes, tanned skin, well-muscled, irresistible dog-ears he had it all. If it was not for his foul attitude, Kagome probably could have probably appreciated how handsome he was, but his attitude ruined it.
"Look asshole, I didn't do it on purpose. Maybe if you walked faster I wouldn't have bumped into you." She snapped back. For as long as she could remember, Inuyasha had always taken pleasure in making her miserable. Embarrassing her in the halls, in class and in general, just being rude to herm but now that she was in her junior year of high school, she did not want to take any of his crap anymore. She got up, dusted herself off, and began to walk off.
"Hey! Shouldn't you apologize for bumping into me? You are clearly at fault." He shouted after her.
She turned on her heel and looked him straight in his eyes, trying her best not to be distracted. "I don't have to apologize for anything seeing as you've always made it point to be an ass to everyone. You can stand there and sulk if you want, but I'm leaving." With that, she turned back around and walked off to school.
"Pain in the ass." She muttered
"Stubborn bitch" He muttered.
That is it so far. I will try to update more frequently! Please enjoy this story.
