Our Secrets To Share And To Hold
Chapter 1: Vague
Aleta Pandora
Powers: Unknown
Birth Date: September 13, 2013
Kurama's POV
I look up from the file to see Koenma's eyes on me. "This is all you have?"
"Yes, she's as mysterious as Rando once was and maybe just as powerful." Konema ran his hands through his hair.
"We can't do much if all you have is her name and birth date. How could we find her?" I throw the file on his desk and seat myself on the couch. "Unless you know something we don't know?"
"Well, we have several locations of her last known sightings, her last targets, and a few pictures. Would you like to see them?" He asks pulling another file out of his desk. He hands it to me and I begin to look through it. My eyes stop on a full body shot of her.
Lacking in figure I see.
Not now this is serious.
Fine, I won't tell you what I know.
Fine, what is it?
I was in the demon world last month when I heard about her cause.
Are you always this vague?
I heard someone precious to her was kidnapped and sold off on the slave market. Apparently, she's very pissed.
"Well what is it?" Konema asks inpatient. "Youko knows of this girl." I say, slowly thoughts of how he could be in the demon world last month trailing through my mind.
"Is she really that old?" Kuwabara asks from the doorway. "I thought she might be at least what 16."
"Nice to see you Kuwabara, where's Yusuke?" Kurama asked while Kuwabara made himself comfortable on the couch.
"You know how he is now. Off fighting some big bad monster. Want to explain what this is about?"
"Sure. We have a criminal out on the hunt for her friends and in turn doing our job."
"Yeah the fox is right. We should let her take out those men. They would have caused trouble anyway." Hiei jumped from his post to stand next to the desk.
"Maybe, but in the human world these are unexplained murders and assignations. Someone will want an answer. So the best we can do is stop her and let there souls receive justice." Koenma ran his hands through his hair once again.
"What do you mean?" Kurama eyed with suspicion.
"She took their souls and has them trapped in her bracelet. They haven't made it to the sprit world yet."
"So we're fighting a girl who can steal souls?" Kuwabara asks.
"Correct."
"Oi! We're going to need a physic."
"No stuff. Well if you'll excuse me, my mother will be expecting me anytime now. Tonight's game night. You're welcome to come Hiei. My mother's offer is still open."
"What offer?"
"My mother wants to adopt Hiei."
"Her adopt that little devil. She's crazy."
"I'll come but, it's worthless for her to consider such a thought."
"Good, but she's looking out for your best interest. Now come on, I'm in charge of snacks this time. So we must stop at the store."
Hiei made a face of displeasure and followed Kurama through the door. Koenma watched them leave and turned to Kuwabara. "I see that you're accepting missions now.'
"Yeah. Can't leave my friends in the dust, no matter how much I slow them down." Kuwabara replied standing. "I'll try to find Yusuke and tell him about this one. Ever since that Razien crap his been all violent. Needs something to vent on."
"Kuwabara you do realize that we should give up on Yusuke. He's a criminal now. He won't answer our calls."
"You may give up on him but I won't. I know him. He's a lot more loyal to his friends. Besides everyone he cares about are alive and they need him. His mother, Kayko, and me. Without him, who would I pick on?"
"Just don't get you're hopes up. I'm here for you. You know that right?" Koenma at this point had moved to stand in front of Kuwabara.
"I know. Thanks. I just hope he comes home. Well, see you later." Kuwabara waved goodbye and left out the door. Koenma stared after. "How could you wait for him? He doesn't want you? I do."
