It always really dissapointed me that Tidus and Auron never met in the Kingdom Hearts games. This is my fix-it for that tiny error. The premise for this is that the events of FF10 happened in Tidus previous life, which is still Auron's current life. So when he ends up in the Underworld, he ends up there after the end of FF10. When he's free and his new friend is trying to find him a place to belong, he gets dragged to Destiney Islands.
Where he meets Tidus again. The old Guardian decides to stick with his kid (because shut up he's Auron's kid and we all know it) and do what he does best. Guard. I can't help it! I love the idea of Auron and Tidus peacefully living together again! And Wakka's there too! It's cute! Leave me to my fantasies!
"Hey guys!" Tidus turned at the call and grinned when he saw Sora running towards them. He was flanked by several peculiar individuals but lately that was normal for Sora. He was always coming and going and bringing strange friend's from other worlds with him. They were always nice and usually interesting, he particularly liked Goofy and Yuffie. They were funny.
"Sora!" Wakka called back turning and waving his arms. "What's happening man?!" Tidus laughed at his best friend's words, Wakka was always so hyper in the Summer. They both grinned as Sora finally came to a stop in front of them, Donald and Goofy reaching them mere seconds later.
"I just got back from Olympus Colosseum and Radiant Garden." The chipper brunette confessed after clasping hands with the both of them. "I'm trying to find my buddy Auron a place to belong." He turned then and waved at a man walking slowly toward's them. "Auron! Come say hi!"
The black haired man rolled his shoulder's and sped up just slightly. Sora smiled at him. "Auron, this is Tidus and Wakka." He gestured to each of them in turn. "They're friend's of mine here on Destiny Islands."
Auron's dark eyes assessed them, first Wakka and then Tidus. They lingered on Tidus, seeming to bore into his very soul. Somehow the action didn't make him as nervous as it should, (it sure creeped him out whenever Riku did it) strangely enough it actually relaxed him. Weird. He titled his head to the side and frowned. "You seem, familiar. Have we met before?"
Auron blinked at him. "Possibly." He said at length. Tidus couldn't help but laugh at that.
"Well," he said holding out his hand, "if we have I'm glad we're meeting again."
The older man stared at his outstretched hand for a moment before taking it. "Agreed."
