I saw you in the ship, in the corner of my eye
Rubbing your tummy in hunger, letting out a lone sigh
I felt sad for you, and you gave me an idea
I gave you food, as I turned my back saying,'' See ya''.
You squeaked and followed me around the place
I looked for Gantu... he was gone without a trace
I felt lonely, as I sat on the floor
That cockroach climbed up my shoulder, and stayed until four.
You stayed by my side all the way through
Naming you Jimmy, that was a good name for you
You hugged my neck, loving that name
While we were waiting for Gantu, we played a game
For food something good, not disgusting mush
You hugged me again... you actually made me blush!
I actually called you my pet
In just a few minutes that we met
You stay by me on the days I feel blue
I just love having a friend like you!
When Gantu saw you, he just screamed!
About to shoot you with his lazer beam
I talked to him about having Jimmy as a pet
I told Gantu to stop being such a threat
I loved Jimmy, but Gantu couldn't see that
Jimmy stays with me... not in an ally full of cats
I tell Jimmy secrets, I'd know he wouldn't tell
Especially times when I didn't feel to well
There was one sandwich that I ate
It was old, just sitting on a plate
