Kaito KID's Mother

What if Kaito KID's mother decided to call during one of the heists? Meant to be humorous. Sorry if the characters act OOC. I apologize for any grammar mistakes, but I did it to the best of my abilities. Criticism is welcome as long as it's constructive. Review if you feel like it.

Okay so this is a new story I've had laying around and decided that I should just post it because why not? Anyways, I don't own Detective Conan, and I hope you enjoy this little snippet.

"Well tantei-kun, it was nice seeing you but-" suddenly Kid's cell starts playing ghost busters.

If there's somethin' strange in your neighborhood
Who ya gonna call?
(Ghostbusters!)

If it's somethin' weird an' it don't look good
Who ya gonna call?
(Ghostbusters!)

"Hold on a second, tantei-kun, moshi-moshi?"

"WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU AT THIS GODFORSAKEN HOUR KAITO!"

"I can't talk right now mother, I'm busy."

"DOING YOUR STUPID NIGHT JOB AGAIN! YOU HAD BETTER GET YOUR BUTT HERE RIGHT NOW OR YOU'RE GROUNDED MISTER!"

"Mother, please not so loud. Can I call you back?"

"No you can't mister, stop playing games and help me get ready for our guests tomorrow. Some of my old friends are visiting for dinner and you promised you would help me out."

""Damn, forgot about that."

"DON'T USE THAT LANGUAGE WITH ME!"

"Please calm down. I'll be home in a few minutes. Please just hold on. KID'S almost done with his heist. I'll come home straight away, I promise."

"I don't care about some stupid thief. Get over here now, or you're grounded. It's already way past your bedtime and there's still work to be done."

"Yes mother." and then the phone shuts off.

"Does KID have to run home to his mommy like a kid?

"Shouldn't a little 7 year old be home in bed watching Seasame Street instead of being out in the cold chasing a phantom thief?"

"Sesame Street is for losers. Everyone knows Kamen Yaiba is better, Kaito."

"..."

"Don't tell me you watch that horrid show?"

"...None of your business Tantei-kun. Did you just admit you like Kamen Yaiba?'

"...I like it for the justice in it. That's all."

"..."

"..."

"Let's say tonight never happened."

"Agreed. Night Tantei-kun." KID calls activating his hang glider, and throwing the jewel back. "It's not the one."

"Bye KID!" Conan calls after catching the emerald KID threw. Walking back to the task force, Conan thinks, 'This night was weird. I need some hot chocolate tonight. Maybe snuggle with Ran some...Wonder what old friends are visiting KID'S family?'

(Next day)

"Yusaku, looking handsome. You look stunning to Yukiko, like always. Please come in and join us. This is my son Kaito..."s
