To celebrate the one year anniversary of my first ever fan fiction (Romeo and Juliet) I have written this one shot. Some credit must go to ILoveEveything6, who came up with the idea to do something involving an anniversary.

This story is set right before season 2.

Disclaimer: I do not own Violetta. Disney does.

Violetta's POV

I was sadly laying on my bed.

Tomorrow would be the day Tomas would return to Spain, and I was going to miss him.

Suddenly, I got a text on my phone.

I opened it up and saw who it was from.

It was Tomas.

I took a deep breath and read the text.

Meet me by the tree where we first met.

I got up, got dressed and went to the tree.

When I got there I saw Tomas waiting for me.

"Hi Tomas", I said. "Is everything alright?"

"Everything's fine", Tomas replied. "Do you realise what day it is?"

"No", I replied.

"Violetta", Tomas started. "We met at this very spot one year ago."

"Oh man", I said before slapping my forehead. "I totally forgot! I'm so sorry Tomas."

"It's alright", Tomas stated. "I actually only remembered this morning."

Tomas then took my hand.

"Anyway", he started. "Since it is the one year anniversary of the day we met, and I'm leaving tomorrow, I wanted to give you something."

With that Tomas put a bracelet around my wrist.

It was the same bracelet that fell into my bag when we first met.

"This is the bracelet that fell into my bag when we met", I said with tears in my eyes.

"It is", Tomas said before he raised my face so I could look at him. "Violetta. I may be leaving, but that doesn't mean I won't come back."

I looked at Tomas in shock.

"I promise Violetta", Tomas started. "Someday, I will come back to you."

With that Tomas kissed my cheek and left.

And with that, he was out of my life for the time being.

I looked down at the bracelet and smiled.

He will come back.

HotXbun: Parting, is such a sweetened sorrow.

For those who don't know. That line is from Romeo and Juliet.

I have news. I will be writing a multi chapter sequel to this! It will be called 'A Return, A Song'.

Until then.
