Huey tried to get away from Jazmine, but she was too fast. Jazmine grabbed on to Huey, and they soon tumbled down the Hill. Once they reached the bottom, Huey was on bottom while Jazmine was on the top.
"Now Huey let me see it!" she said tearing off the bandage. She saw the big purple bruise. Huey was staring into Jazmine's green eyes. He was unsure of what to do next. He was holding Jazmine by her hips as she kept looking at the bruise.
"Jazmine, what are you-"
Jazmine planted her lips on his nose. Huey blushed in shock. After she was done, Jazmine stared into Huey's eyes.
"I bet your old best friend couldn't do that."
"No." Huey replied in shock. They then got off of each other and started to walk home together. As they were walking, Huey turned to Jazmine.
"Jazmine, why did you kiss me?" Huey asked. Jazmine blushed.
"Because when you get a booboo, you are supposed to kiss it to make it feel better."
"How would that work? Jazmine, kisses can't heal wounds."
"Yes they can."
"No."
"Yeah huh."
"Nuh uh."
"Oh Huey." Jazmine said. She grabbed Huey hand and held it. Huey then looked over at Jazmine.
"Listen, Jazmine?"
"Yes Huey?"
"I'm sorry for being a bit bitter to you. It's just that sometimes, there's a lot on my mind."
"It's okay, Huey."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Jazmine, you're my best friend."
"Really Huey?"
"Yeah, and I haven't told anyone this, but Jazmine?"
"Yeah?"
"You are my only friend."
"Really? But don't you have anyone at school who is your friend?"
"No."
"Well, you are my only friend too."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Many people think I'm weird."
"You're not weird." Huey told her.
"You really think so?"
"Yeah, you seem pretty cool to me."
"Aww, thanks Huey!"
