Game Troubles
I had just managed to achieve installing "World of Warcraft" on my computer and I was ecstatic that I had this game. It had been a rather slow day anyway, getting over the hype of my birthday, having stayed up until 1am Sunday night and still managing to pull a normal sounding conversation that day.
"I can't believe it. This is even better than those adverts they have on the TV for the 40% off." I say to my friend who is sitting next to me looking at the game package.
"Well, we installed it last night and last I remember it was going through a couple of patches".
"We've got plenty of time now. Let's just get the patch done so we have plenty of time to play". I say.
She looked at me strangely and smiled. "Looks like someone's over eager!"
We looked at the download screen it was moving at a fairly good pace.
"Certainly takes it's time! I'll be old before it's finished".
When it finally finished the patch it begins to install another one.
"That's just low, how many patches does it possibly need?"
"My guess would be a lot and besides it's a pretty old game. You've only got number 1 and number 2". I stare at her angrily. At this point the curtain is drawn because it was so sunny outside we couldn't see what was on the screen.
"I know I've got number1 and 2 and I need 3!"
"Gee someone is a little bit obsessed and they haven't even played," she says in a smug tone.
"I don't call it obsessed I call it liking what you are doing!"
She looks at me again and says, "I still think you are kind of creepy and bazaar with your game choices."
"I don't call it creepy or bazaar I call it really liking what you are doing."
After it had gone through the 3rd, 4th and 5th patch I think to myself is this game a whole sham or am I actually going to get to play. Then as if my prayers had been answered by some unknown force it came up with the option to play!
"Well it's about time!" I say, angrily.
" should we you know play it?"
"well, what do you think my answer will be?". This time I was the one to stare at her strangely.
"Okay, here we go!" I say enthusiastically.
" okay, so we need to create character, one male and the other female"
"whatever I am not the one who is enthusiastic about the game!"
after creating a Night Elf called " Sephiroth"
we decided to test it out. We only got to level 2 so that was pretty embarrassing, because we felt we were going to get the level 38 we had a fair go of that character until it died in battle.
"Well, we could try another character." I say.
Then, we created a undead female called "Konachan"
long story short, we got to level 2, and we have not advanced
we then decided to create a human character called " Tifa Strife as homage to final fantasy. But we never got to play with her because after we created her. It was time for lunch and yes I got two more games after that ALIEN VERSUS PREDATOR and CRISIS I immediately installed aliens versus predator and well, I can tell you after my friend went back to her house and I waited for four hours, and it had only downloaded 3%. So it must be a pretty good game! Either that or it's just so big my computer can't contain it. I have no idea! But I will try it again. Maybe this weekend!
