AN: After the latest episode, I can't stop thinking about this... SO: ONE-SHOT TIME.~
Tatia
She never met her doppelgänger soulmate. In fact, she still didn't even know that he ever existed. She was drawn to the Mikaelson boys, but they weren't soulmates, not by a long shot.
He was named Samuel, came to live in her house after it was rebuilt from the ashes from which it burned. When prodding around in the attic, he found a drawing with her named underneath a picture of a beautiful woman: Tatia.
That was when Samuel lost his life to a mere picture of a "dead woman", as the town called her. He didn't believe it. He searched for her, because he had to know her and meet her. He never found another, never loved another like he loved her. He would imagine his meetings with her, how they might be together, how they would be married after only a few days of knowing each other because they were so in love with each other. He dreamed of his children with her.
Samuel's life's mission ultimately failed, but they were reunited, as they had both died young; him from a deadly sail across the seas and she from the Original Witch.
Katerina
She had never been one to believe in true love, after all, that bastard Adam had just used her. When she met Simeon, she thought that everything would be perfect, that he was her intended, her future husband. They were in love, they wanted to marry within the next week after only a day of knowing each other. It was different from her time with Adam, this was real. It was like the universe was saying, "Be together! You need to be together!" She readily agreed.
Simeon was amazing. He was kind and charming, he made her smile like no other, and he willing to lay down his life for her, no doubt.
Which he proved when she stole from the town healer. She had needed something, but she couldn't pay for it. So he said that he stole it instead of her.
You see, she was pregnant and she wanted to see if her prediction was correct. That was a grave mistake.
It cost her the truest of all loves she could ever think of: Simeon, her dear sweet Simeon.
His death made her go dark. She left her village, only to lose her dear baby, the only thing she had left of her precious Simeon.
After his death, he had to watch his soulmate make so many mistakes. He truly wished for her to be happy, but she wouldn't give herself that pleasure, and it broke his heart so much that one day he stopped watching her live her life as a vampire and moved on. He could not see her destroy herself any longer.
AN: Tragic. Kinda. I felt like getting this out. Weeeeeeeee.~
Satia and Katerimeon... Ishipit.
