ML54: This is probably my shortest EVER fic!
Mew: I was wondering when you'd do another MewxCelebi fic.
ML54: I figured I'd just do this fic for Valentines Day, since it's tomorrow and everything. Celebi!
Celebi: ML54 doesn't own Pokemon.
Valentines Day
Celebi sighed, looking out over the Lake of Life. She, at the moment, was looking herself over in the reflection of the water pool. Why? She was expecting company...
...specifically in the form of a pink feline.
She sighed again before turning and entering her little cave next to the lake. Walking rather than flying, she entered the cave, looking around.
The place was quite bland. Just green furniture and brown/grey walls. "Why would Mew want me? I must be the most boring legendary out of them all. He'll be more interested in Mesprit or Shaymin. They're more colourful and fun."
Though this thought depressed her, she new it was true. She was the 'good girl', the rule follower and generally the one to tell others off if they broke the rules.
That's why she was looking at her reflection earlier. She was trying to look prettier or at least a little more attractive than the fairy-bug thing she was now.
She sighed, looking at her reflection in the mirror on her wall. It didn't seem to make a difference though. She still looked bland and boring in comparison to the other female legendaries. Cresselia, inparticular, looks radiant.
"Why did Mew want to see me, anyway?" She thought to herself as she felt another legendary presence in Ilex Forest. About seven seconds later there was a knock on the wooden door she had Rotom and Jirachi put up for her.
"It's open, Mew!" She called, rolling her eyes. Mew had taken to knocking everyone's doors before entering after he had accidentally entered in on her in her human form changing clothes. She'd forgiven him, it being a mistake she'd rather had forgotten. At least Mew seems to be able to learn from his mistakes.
Anyway, in came the pink kitten known as Mew, who had his hands behind his back and looked very nervous to say the least.
Celebi turned and smiled to her friend. "It's good to see you Mew."
Mew smiled back, uneasily. "Good to see you too Celebi."
"So, not that I don't enjoy your visits, but why are you here?" Mew sighed and pulled a single rose out from behind his back and held it out to her.
"T-This is f-for you..." Mew said, not looking up from the floor. Celebi took the rose in surprise, a small blush adorning her cheeks. "...happy valentines day."
Celebi stood there for a few seconds, before grinning cheek to cheek and tackling Mew into a big hug. Sure it wasn't a confession, but it's a start.
