Ash Ketchum : A 15 year old boy from Pallet Town who has already proved his skill in four other regions. Ash is joined by Cilan for his travels in Unova and they soon become best friends, the only Pokemon Ash currently has are Pikachu and Tranquill. Early on in his adventure, he meets others.
Cilan : A 17 year old gym leader from Striaton City. He ran the gym along with his siblings Chili and Cress. His starter Pokemon is the grass monkey Pansage and he also has a Dwebble. He made a friend of Ash when they met briefly in Sinnoh.
Ayden Ito : Ayden is fifteen years old and from Nuvema Town in Unova. Already having got the badges from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh she has come back to her home region. Her starter was Oshawott, and she has multiple other Pokemon, including a Growlithe.
Cheren : Cheren is Ayden's seventeen year old best friend, and incredibly intelligent. He is usually the one making the smart decisions. He has a Snivy, Liepard and a Bulbasaur given to him specially.
Gary Oak : Gary, a sixteen year old who is Ash's ex-nemesis, has put a hold on his Pokemon research to re-join his 'friend'. He has his Umbreon, Wartortle and Skarmory. He's set out to defeat N and put a stop to Team Plasma.
'N' : Unknown age, N is the king of Team Plasma and has one goal, to give Pokemon their freedom.
Team Plasma: The group working for N.
