She lay on the tiny hospital bed, how many days had it been? Five? Eight? Maybe even a week.
He had been standing by the wall for some time, watching her tiny body as she breathed in and out. He sighed "You were too gentle to him Rio," he said to the tiny girl in the bed, she moved, as if she heard what he said, but she made no responce.
"Why is it I'm always the one here waiting for you to make some kind of responce while everyones out with something else to do?" he asked, more to himself than to her. He gave a small laugh "I guess without anything to do has left me restless.."
"K-kousuke?" he rushed to her side when she spoke, her eyes took some time to open, adjusting to the darkness that surrounded the tiny hospital room. She blinked, staring up at the white ceiling before looking to him "What time is it?" she questioned.
"About 3 in the morning, you slept right through Little Narumi and that girl coming in to see how you were doing, plus Eyes came in with another melon," he nodded to the object on the small table next to the bed. He noticed the girls tiny pout when she looked at the melon "You didn't wake me up?" she asked.
Somehow, he felt his chest hurt, and he shook his head, giving her a tiny smile "He said it would be best to let you rest."
"Did he now?" after that she let her eyes close. "W-wait! Your going to ask that than just go back to sleep!" he yelled, he was tired as well and was a little annoyed of waiting for her, just for her to pass back out.
He blinked when her small hand touched his for a tiny second "I'm just so tired." and with that she fell back asleep. He gave a chuckle "What a child.."
