WHoooOOOo. I have only been on here for like two weeks and now I am starting my second story. Well, set of stories. Haha. I am just going to write short drabbles whenever I find a cute headcannon or prompt that I like, maybe an AU? I dunno. Send in any ideas you have for a short story that you want to see be written c:

Antonio slammed his bedroom door, ignoring Lovino's calls for him to stop and calm down. He couldn't do that right now.

Sure, outside of their home, Antonio was the happiest person alive, but behind closed doors.. Since he hides his sadness and pain of the things that happen around him, Antonio will just sometimes snap and break down into tears and cries of agony from what he dealt with while he tried to make everyone else happy. Nobody knew he was like this, not even Francis and Gilbert.

Only Lovino.

His Italian lover was the only person he could tell this to, to trust enough to break his built up walls of sadness and actually let out his pain around. It took so long until he had enough trust for him to do this, and when he did Lovino didn't leave him alone for so long, so scared that so much pressure would build up and he would break beyond what Lovino could fix.

After these years of being together, Lovino could tell whenever a smile was fake, a laugh was forced, the sound in his voice that showed he was holding back tears and sadness. It was horrible, heartbreaking. It made Lovino want to curl up and cry, just to know someone he used to think was always happy was just putting up this facade and was actually hurting inside. It killed him, especially now since they were lovers.

So now, he followed the elder man quickly, not giving up in his chase as he opened the door to their bedroom and walked in, closing it softly as he saw the figure curled up in the blankets and sheets, shaking as soft sobs echoed around the room. "Antonio.." He whispered softly, feeling his stomach twist and heart drop as he watched him for a moment before going over to the bed. He sighed softly, laying down next to the figure under the covers and laying down close to him, wrapping an arm around Antonio and holding him close and tight.

Antonio fliched and whimpered softly as he felt his lover so close to him, biting his lower lip before coming up from under the covers and looking up to Lovino with swollen, glossy eyes and a quivering lip. With another whimper, he wrapped both around the Italian's torso, holding on tightly as he shook and cried in his arms. Lovino wrapped his own arms tightly around him, holding him in return and whispering sweet nothings in both Spanish and Italian to his sad partner.

He hated seeing him like this, so broken and lost, he needed to fix it, always felt the need to fix him. He knew how depressed Antonio could get if he wasn't properly taken care of, so he always tried to find new ways to cheer him up. He hummed softly into his ear, just humming the tune to one of Antonio's favorite songs to try and calm him down, rubbing his back slowly as the grip on him only tightened.

They both ended up laying down, neither one letting go of the other just yet. They stayed like this for the rest of the night, Antonio having fallen asleep due to fatigue as Lovino refused to fall asleep and just watch Antonio, making sure he didn't have any nightmares or woke up crying again. It usually stayed like this for the first night when this happened, so Lovino didn't mind.

Just as long as he could make sure Antonio would wake up to his welcoming arms and the smile he promised only to him.

Hope you liked it, thank you for reading!
