Author's Note: I just felt like writing this for some reason. It's incredibly short. :)
Moving In
I stepped off of the train, scratching the top of my head in perplexity. I had no idea of where I was. All I know is that I'm in a different town…a town that is very different from my hometown. When I was old enough to be on my own, my parents were quick to get rid of me. They packed my bags and shoved me onto the nearest train, ready to see me off.
Whatever.
I sauntered away from the train station, twirling some of my black curly hair with my index finger and scanning grass, trees, houses, and everything with my greenish eyes.
"Hi there!"
I jumped, letting out a yelp of astonishment, turning around to see a girl around my age standing there. Her hair was brown, her eyes were brown, her cheeks were pink, and she wore blue overalls with an orange shirt underneath.
"Hello!" She squeaked annoyingly.
"Hey…" I muttered, backing away from her.
"I'm Runey!" She introduced herself in elation, giddy and jittery.
"You can call me Jaymz…" I commented slowly, noticing her bubbly and excited behavior.
She giggled. "Welcome to Unaware!"
"Unaware?" I mimicked what she said. I just knew I looked completely flabbergasted…and stupid. "Is that the name of this town?"
"Yes, silly," Runey talked, grabbing my arm aggressively and tugging me towards a rather large house. "This is my house! I'll ask Tom Nook to have a house ready for you!"
I let the crazed girl pull me towards her massive abode. "Tom Nook?"
"Yes!" She squawked.
I sighed.
As Runey blabbered on and on about how I was going to enjoy 'Unaware' and meet 'talking animals', I decided that I might enjoy this town.
