Hey, this is another story that I did not write…. I don't understand why my friends and I were writing fanfiction at 4 in the morning but whatever. It was fun. This is song fanfic ( I know song fanfics are annoying because of the lyrics interrupting the story but life cant be so simple can it.)
I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said I'd never let you go.
It was raining badly when the day had finally come, its July 4th and Arthur gotten into war with Francis. The soldiers are dieing every minute of the war, it's a very bloody war. Alfred promised that Arthur would stay strong no matter how much he is falling.
When all those shadows almost killed your light.
I remember you said 'don't leave me here alone'Arthur's soldiers where falling to the French, he didn't know what to do. Arthur pulled out a note that was saying "Stay Strong", Arthur can only do but cry. He remembers when he had the news about the war starting.
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight
Arthur still cried intill the night started, he looked up at the French-mans presence. "What do you w-want you French f-frog?" He stuttered. Francis laughed "Oh im only going to take over your country! All your men are mostly dead anyways!"
Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
No one can hurt you know
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound
"Arthur! I'm here to set you free!"
(Years later)
Don't you dare look out your window
Darlin' everything's on fire
"Alfred, I'm going to show Francis what he deserves. I'm declaring war."
War has begun again after the years that Arthur was no longer under Francis's rule. "I just don't think you should!" Alfred cried. He didn't want to lose Arthur again.
The war outside our door keeps raging on
All of Arthur's soldiers have passed
Arthur is passing away
"Arthur, don't die! Don't die please!" Alfred shaked Arthur while crying. He was not just going to lose Arthur like this. They where going to have a wonderful world! Alfred even had a ring ready for the future. 'Everything will be fine Iggy…I promise."
Hold on to this lullaby
Even when the music's gone
Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
No one can hurt you know
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound
It's very quiet in the battlefield, a very melancholy moment. Alfred slowly sang the lullaby, remembering every word from when Arthur sang to him. The tears dripped down from him face onto Arthur's. He repeats.

Arthur slowly closed his eyes

The song is called ' Safe and Sound'. Please don't yell at me I know France seems like a bad person in this but there was no other choice. Anyway til next time…
