A poem I wrote about the friendship of the Skipper and Gilligan. I guess it's from Gilligan's POV. X3 That's about it, but here's a little taste: Thick and thin, red and blue, Through it all I'll stick with you...

"Friends Through Thick and Thin"

Thick and thin, red and blue

Through it all I'll stick with you.

Taller, shorter, younger, older

You'll be there to pat my shoulder.

Even when you're coming, yelling

Whack me with your hat and telling

Me I'm really dumb

I know we're friends till kingdom come.

Even when I'm tripping, falling

Stepping on your toes and mauling

You with coconuts

You still like me though I'm a clutz!

Big buddy, little buddy

"Gonna punch your nose bloody!"

But you never mean those threats you give.

When I mess up, you yell at me

But try to help me learn, you see

You try to help me learn how to live.

"Become a man,"

I'm still a boy.

When I take a stand

You shout for joy.

I wanna show you just what I can do.

And if I mess up, I'll make it up to you.

Rhymes with 'slipper'

Funny, cause I'm always slipping up.

Blue and red, thin and thick

Through it all, with you I'll stick.

Break or bend

You're my friend

Stay that way until the end!

I wrote this cute little poem last night after drawing the picture I used for the cover image... I finally got a cartoon Skipper I'm happy with. :D I drew basic designs for the others as well.

Kind of was taking inspiration for the drawing from the contrast of Danny Fenton to his dad, Jack. Danny is this short, skinny teenager and Jack is this great big, tall, wide guy. XD Not the same sort of relationship, but the visual contrast was kind of what I needed there.
