"FINALLYYYY!" The trainer shouted, holding his completed Pokedex high in the air. "I GOT ALL 151! YEAAAAH!" The over-excited boy was about to rush to the nearby Lab to show his Pokedex off to the professor, but something caught his eye that prevented it.
"Grass?" He questioned himself. He paced to the edge of Pallet town and could see a wide span of grass just outside of the rock barrier. It seemed to go on forever, but there was no Pokemon in it at all. Out of curiosity, he attempted to go to the other side, but some invisible force caused him to bounce back. "Inaccessible grass, huh?" He asked no one in particular. Still wanting to explore the grass, he pulled out a Pokeball containing his prized Pokemon.
"GO MEW!" The trainer yelled and tossed the Pokeball to release the Pokemon. It bounced off of the invisible barrier and opened to reveal the legendary.
"MEW!" It screeched, since it couldn't say anything else.
Pointing towards the barrier, the trainer shouted "MEW! BREAK THAT... WALL THING!" Following orders, it blasted a hyper beam at the barrier, shattering it with ease. The trainer smiled to himself for raising such a great Pokemon, but soon realized that he could now go into the inaccessible area and stepped across the rocks.
The world seemed so different from that side, even though it was basically the same. "WOOOOAAAHHHH!" He exclaimed. "THIS IS SOOOO AWESOOOMMMMEEEE!" But, interrupting his awe, he heard the noise of a Pokemon.
"Pika?"
Believing it was a Pikachu, he just shrugged it off. But then he remembered there was no Pokemon in the grass when he first looked, and turned around out of curiosity. To his surprise, it was a blue, round Pokemon with a white belly, that slightly resembled a Pikachu in a way.
"WOW ANOTHER POKEMON I MUST CATCH IT!" The over-excited trainer exclaimed. He quickly threw a Pokeball at it, but once it came near the strange Pokemon, it disintegrated, leaving only a pile of ashes in it's place. He stood shocked for a second, staring at where the ball once stood as the Pikachu-like thing acted as if it was nothing.
"Oh..." He said. "...so that's how it is..." The boy then turned his hat backwards, showing that shit just got real, and pulled out the Master Ball that he never used. With one quick movement, he tossed it in the direction of the Pokemon... only for it to be disintegrated like the last ball.
"WHAAATTT?" He gasped. "WHY CAN'T I CATCH YOOOUUU? WHYYYY?" The Pokemon only glanced in his direction as if destroying the Master Ball was easy. Then, with a flick of it's tail, the ground in front of it collapsed, left oozing hot lava.
Now knowing how powerful that thing was, the trainer did the thing any 10 year old would do in a situation like this: RUN. He attempted to go through the hole he'd made in the invisible barrier, but it sealed itself up. Noticing so, he ran in the opposite direction, towards the grass. However, when he was only 3 steps into it, he froze. Not purposely, he just couldn't move whatsoever. The world around him became glitchy and pixely, making frequent high pitched beeps as if the whole world crashed like a video game. Able to move his eyes, however, he looked back and could see the monster of a Pokemon creeping closer and closer towards him. Soon enough, the thing was right next to him, watching his still body like it was it's prey. It whispered one word.
"Pikablu..."
Followed by a final scream from the trainer, the whole world seemed to just shut off.
Now the trainer rests in peace in a corrupted save file.
