Magnus twined the sparkling blue substance through his fingers. It was sparkling and floating anonymously, as if it wasn't really there. Alec watched, his eyes wide. He had seen his boyfriend do stuff like that before, but this was different. In the glittery weave that shone the same color as Alec's eyes was both of their names. Small, violet-winged butterflies flew around it, dressing it beautifully. "You like it?" Magnus asked. He was dressed in all black, except for the bright purple belt that wrapped tightly around his waist. The tips of his spiked hair were colored with temporary purple dye.
"It's beautiful…How long did it take you to learn that?" Magnus grinned, his purplish lips gleaming. Sparkles flaked lightly off his cheeks.
"To long for you to be able to count. If you think that's amazing, watch this…" A look of concentration formed on his face, creasing his forehead. His lips were in a tight, white line. Words began to form in the blue mist. It was slowly turned gold and green, matching Magnus's eyes. Alec began to say the forming words under his breath.
Alec…will you..marry…me?
Alec jumped at the words. Magnus grinned again. His cat-eyes were glowing with love and delight. "Of course I will!" He jumped into Magnus's arms, which were now relaxed. Settling sparks of blue, green and gold fell slowly to the ground before burning out.
"I didn't think you would say yes." A look of happy shock played in his voice. Alec's arms were wrapped tightly around his pale neck.
"Of course I would say yes…" He wrapped his lips around Magnus's without a second thought before they crashed to the couch beside them.
