Kaz sighed softly, leaning against the clear glass, a frown on his face as he stared out to the stars. He was by his self, in the lobby of the space port where he was. His friends, Fiona, Diego, and Myron, had all gone somewhere else in the port, leaning him alone with his thoughts.

'Will I see you again?" A teary-eyed Kaz asked, looking at the ground, facing his blonde haired friend.

Shiro sighed, turning his head to the side. "Our paths differ too greatly, Kaz, I don't think-"

"But that's not fair!" Kaz shouted, looking up at Shiro. Shiro frowned, eyes a little wide, surprised at the others outburst.

"Kaz?" Shiro murmured quietly, expression softening.

"Please… Shiro. You can't leave me again." Kaz pleaded and Shiro let a smile cross his face as he hugged Kaz.

"We'll meet again, I promise." Shiro said.

Hazel eyes blinked away gathering tears and Kaz sighed again. "I can't believe it's been a year since we've gone our separate ways." He murmured. "And I still can't get you from my head, Shiro…" Looking out to the stars once more, he frowned and straightened up, shaking his head. I shouldn't waste my time, waiting for someone who I'm not going to see again… he thought, pushing away from the glass.

He made ready to leave the lobby, deciding to head out and search for his friends, hoping they would be ready to leave themselves. So he wouldn't have to be left alone with such depressing thoughts any longer.

"Leaving so soon?" Kaz froze, eyes wide, when he heard the familiar voice.

It can't be… he thought, thinking that maybe it was all in his head, but he turned around anyway. And tears immediately leaked from his eyes he saw familiar magenta eyes. "S-Shiro…?" He asked weakly, and the other smiled.

"Kaz, it's been awhile." Shiro said, and for a moment, Kaz was frozen. But then he carefully took a step forward, towards Shiro.

"S-Shiro… y-you're really… h-here…?" Kaz took a few more steps forwards before breaking into a run, leaping towards the other and he tackled Shiro to the ground, tears crawling down his cheeks.

Shiro grunted in surprise from the impact, but he didn't do anything about it, and instead he just wrapped his arms around Kaz, comforting the other as he cried. "Yeah, I'm here." He said and Kaz's grip tightened.

"I-I waited… a year for y-you, Shiro…" he whimpered and buried his face in Shiro's chest. "N-never once have you n-not crossed my mind…"

"I know… I've missed you as well, Kaz." He replied, sitting on the ground with the blue-haired teen still in his arms. "I'm sorry…" he finally added, soft and quiet to Kaz, "for making you wait so long."

I had written this one a few days ago, while watching some of the episodes. Be mindful that I haven't yet watched every episode, I'm only on episode thirty, but I don't plan on continuing the series just yet.
