Knife
John's knife was against his throat.
Against Nikola's throat.
She had not saved Nikola's life for as she had as she had for him to die becuase of her ex – lover.
She made her choice.
She shoved John to the floor, but .......
She had forgtten about the knife in the millisecond in which she had decided upon her course of action.
John's knife ended up in her heart.
And as she bled to death on her bedroom floor, she couldn't bring herself to regret her choice.
And Nikola was kneeling next to her in her own blood.
"I'm sorry" he whispered.
"It was my choice to do it, Nikola" she rasped
"Why?" he looked at her with tears in his eyes – not something she saw in his eyes often.
"Becuase I love you" she smiled at him
And with her last great secret out in the open, Dr Helen Magnus died with a smile on her face leaving Nikola Tesla sobbing brokenly over her body.
