Perfection

"It was a mistake."

Yes; it was a big mistake that a god...a god like me...acted upon.

"It was blind revenge."

I didn't know how people have changed over the years.

"That does not change anything; it was still a mistake."

Then...I am imperfect.

"But...you said gods are perfect."

Then I am not a god.

"But...you are forgiven. Isn't that what matters?"

Forgiven...

Yes; my wrongdoings are perfected by their...forgiveness.

I see now...

"You are still a god."

An imperfect god...a god that will repeat his mistakes.

"That has no matter. Nobody - no; not even yourself - is perfect."

How can that be? Gods and goddesses are created to be perfect. Immortal and always right...

"You are only immortal. That, however, doesn't mean you are perfect."

I see...

"Now, snap out of this nonsense, Arceus! Another day calls to be created by you, and there is no dilly-dallying."

No dilly-dallying, huh?

Another mistake wouldn't hurt to be executed...
