An: I do not own Naruto or Bleach. Don't sue.

Pairing: MadaMatsu if you squint, turn your head to the side and try to imagine. NaruSaku.
Ghosts of Time
This couldn't be death. Death was supposed to be eternal, like a blanket being pulled up over your existence. A rickety chain connected him to the other him on the ground. He refused to think of it as his body.
Aged eyes turned towards the smoldering ruins of the Shodai Hokage's great stone head. The Valley of the End was a bleak place after all.
His arm convulsed. Cursing he fumbled around in his robes for the syringe that contained his medicine. His life. The whole reason he started the Akatsuki.
The Eye of the Moon plan? A sham, to draw Sasuke to his side. Why would he, one who thrived on conflict and war want the worlds wars to end?
It was absurd.
The chain attached to other him snapped, sending waves of pain crashing through his chest. It wracked through his body, forcing a scream from his weathered lips.
Uchiha Madara bit back a sob.
He could hardly move, even as he watched the world pass him by. Across the Valley the Kyuubi child rose to his feet, aided by that pink haired medic.
He screamed at them, wailing out his sorrows. But of course they couldn't hear him.
The world passed him by.
The two others left, and the silence deafened him.
The silence was broken by a deafening roar. It echoed out through the Valley and back to his ears. He turned sharply to the right and glanced out towards the lake. The two links of chain attached to his chest jingled.
Standing five hundred meters above the lake was a large, white snake-like monster. Its long insect like legs clicked together as it swayed around. The purple markings around its eyes reminded him of Orochimaru. Coils upon coils frothed around it and down into the water.
It roared and lunged towards him.
"Unare, Haineko" A voice called out with the sound of crunching leaves. Ash flung from behind him towards the giant serpent. Effortlessly the ash devoured the beast, binding its limbs in place. In a flash a figure stood before it. Part of the ash drifted back to the hilt in her hand, forming a blade. She brought it down and cut through the things head.
It disappeared in a cloud of black wails.
The woman turned and stepped, appeared next to him. The fragments of his orange mask fell down and shattered against the stone. She glanced at his chest, not noticing his eyes trailing to her prodigious attachments.
His chain rattled.
"Wow." Her voice range out like the crunch of dry leaves underfoot. "You're lucky I got here so soon huh?" She asked, and without waiting for an answer tapped his head with the pommel of her sword.
"See ya' in Soul Society." She said as his world dissolved into blue light.
Maybe the world wouldn't pass him by this time.
AN: Just to let you know, I despise Sasuke as a cannon character. I can stomach him in some fanon but other than that he irks me.
