Chapter One: The Flight

"Six kids boarded Flight Thirteen at exactly eight o'clock. We lost their signal about an hour later. What became of them, we don't know. But we will find out."

What the manager of the airport just said was exactly true. Six kids did board that flight: Anna-a spoiled rich girl, Kiki-a down-to-earth singer, Becca-an adventurous, daring girl, Mike-your basic nerd, Trent-a friendly guitarist, and Jacob-a caring teen with a dark secret. Each of these kids were around the ages fourteen to seventeen, in order from youngest to oldest Kiki, Mike, Anna, Becca, Trent, and Jacob, the oldest. Each of these teens had little in common: other than winning a very big contest. But what they ended up with wasn't what they expected.

~Earlier That Evening, At Eight~

Six teens boarded their small plane with one person in each of the six one-seat rows. A short blonde sat in the front across from a taller boy with black hair. Behind them were a taller brunette across from a short boy with red hair, glasses, and an acne problem, and in the last row were another tall brunette and a medium-height boy with brown hair like hers. Nobody spoke until fifty-five minutes from the flight, when the plane started picking up speed.

"Everybody please put on the life vests underneath your seats, we are experiencing major turbulence. Once you have your vest on, please jump from the plane." The pilot said worriedly. "Thank you for your cooperation."

The teens panicked, trying to get their life vests on. Everybody made it out safely, except the short blonde. She jumped, but had dropped her life vest. She screamed as she jumped from the plane, the last one, everybody else in the water.

"I CAN'T SWIM!" she shouted, hoping somebody would catch her. "HELP ME, PLEASE! HELP!"

The blonde was immersed fully in water, not being able to get up or breathe, but somebody grabbed her wrist before she got into deep water, and pulled her to shore. She, of course, didn't notice because she had already lost consciousness. Everybody made it to an island safely. Since it was nighttime, they all fell asleep fast. The pilot wasn't so lucky, which would make one of the stowaways very unhappy.
