Evil in LA
Chapter 1
Dec. 31 2008 11:50 PM
Scientists at Umbrella Nevada base were preparing to launch a missile filled with a mist form of the T-virus into a prepared blast site. "All systems are go," said a scientist near the control consol, "as long as this is running the missile will hit the proper location." "Good," said the scientist who had just been checking the missile, "as long as we only hit the blast site, the government need never know we did this." "Lets begin countdown," said the scientist who had his finger above the red button that launches the missile, "ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five." BANG! The door to the launch room was blown apart and through the smoke bullets began to fly. All the scientists were hit, most were killed instantly however the scientist who was to launch was still reaching for the button. The radicals, dressed in all black with gasmasks, walked in to the room. The control consol began to surge due to the blood that had seeped in, destroying it. "Launch sequence initiated," said a cool electric female voice as the scientist slid to the floor, "clear the blast area." A loud rumbling sound accompanied the screams of the soldiers who had been locked in the launch room. One of the radicals grabbed the scientist who was barely alive and said "where is the missile going!" "Thanks to your interference," he said pointing at the control consol, which was now smoking, "we don't know where it's going." The radical shot the scientist, turned to his ally and said, "call the S.T.A.R.S. we've got a situation."
Disclaimer: I do not own Umbrella, the S.T.A.R.S. or anything from Resident Evil. The characters in the following chapters are based on real people but names and certain personality traits have been changed to protect the innocent and punish the guilty.
