'Yun-chan'—Yuki braces himself, waiting for impact —Kakeru throws himself on Yuki's back. Yuki grits his teeth.
'What is it this time, Manabe-san.' He says, trying not to drop his books, even though he can't stand up straight.
He can almost feel Kakeru grinning. Jerk.
'Ah, you should dye your hair, Yun-Yun!'
Yuki grits his teeth again. 'I happen to like my hair color.'
'But it doesn't suit you at all!' Kakeru says as he –finally—drops off Yuki's back.
Yuki is sure the family dentist will have a fit the next time he goes in.
'How exactly does it not fit me?'
'It's grey! It makes me think of snow and cold.'
'…What color would suit me then?' Yuki is pretty sure Kakeru is going to say something stupid—and his arms are still around Yuki's shoulders--but just maybe…
'Red, because you're the leader! Oh, and you get angry all the time.'
That is acceptable, and Yuki starts to say, thanks for being kind of sane. But Kakeru laughs and says, 'Or, it could be pink, because you're a pretty, pretty princess!'
Yuki steps forward, turns around and throws the books at his head.
If he stares at the red hair dye next time he goes to the convince store, it's no fault of his own.
