A.N: This story is and alternate universe with most characters from the series. They all live in the U.S.A as well as all of them being born in Japan except for Souta beacuse they had moved to the U.S when Kagome was four and lved in Elk Township (which is fictionl) with Katsuros parents unitl Kagome was in second and Souta was two years old then they moved to Herrington TN (a fictional town) and lived there. Three years later later Katsura dies (killed by Naraku) and the month before Kagome starts sixth grade Katsuros mom dies from a heart attack and thats why they are moving back to Elk township. Oh and the day is Friday and the month is September.

CH 1
"Hey Kagome how was school?" Akemi aska as Kagome comes in the door. Kagpme says Hi back and tells Akemi that she had a good day and as soon as Kagomes done talking Akemi tells Kagome that she has some news to tell her and Souta but that shed have to wait for Souta to come home before the news can be told. Kagome says "okay" and goes up to her room and watches tv till Souta came in around five-thirty pm. As soon as he comes and eats his afetr school snack Akemi calls both Kagome and Souta into the family room and the first one in was Kagome followed by Souta. Once Kagome and Souta were sitting down Kagome asks what the news was and Akemi answers "we are moving back to Elk Township." Kagome and Souta drop their mouths open then after a couple seconds ask why. Akemi answers "because your grandfather cant tke care of his house alone and I was taling to him and we both decided that we should move back to Elk instead of him moving up here with us." Kagome and Souta then said okay and then asked about all their friends and Kagome added that they hadnt lived in Elk township since she was in second grade and that she didnt know if the friends she had made there still lived there. Akemi then says that grandpa hadn't said wheather Sango, Inuyasha, Kouga, Ayume and Miroku still lived there but that they would make new friends after being there. Kagome and Souta then said "yeh right" and asked when they were moving. Akemi answers next Saturday. Kagome and Souta say "fine" then go and watch tv till dinner. Once at the dinner table Akemi tells them that shell have their school records shipped to their new school next Saturday and that Kagomes school would be Shikon Boarding and that Kaede was the principal. Kagome then aks if she was sure that grandpa hadn't said anything about Inuyasha and Akemi answers "no and if he did that woul dprobalby have been the first thing he told her." Kagome then says "okay" and they contiue to eat dinner in silence. Once dinner is over Akemi does the dishes and Kagome goes and takes a shower and then bruhse her teeth. Once shes done doing that stuff she goes to her bedroom and does her homework while her mom runs Soutas bathwater and by the time Soutas in the bathwater and Akemi asks Kagome about her homework all Kagome says is that she finished it and hands it to Akemi to check. Akemi says thank you and after Kagome says your welcome Kaogme closes her door and turns on Disney channel and as soon as Soutas done with his bath and in his bedroom asleep Akemi knocks on kagomes door and tells her good job on doing all the homework then goes to bed herself. Kagome on the other hand stay up until eleven-thirty-thrre pm then after turning her lights and setting her tv to go off goes to sleep as well.
