The stars are bright tonight. On a cliff overlooking a lake that had some great fish in it stood a man in a training outfit. Were are you dad? This persons father had left his life riding on the back of a dragon. This persons name was Son Gohan. His life had been full of conflict, agony, and torment only to lose his father in the end. Son Gohan had saved the world several times and still ended up losing his mentor, and role model. Son Goku meant more to everyone than they had expected. Even Vegeta. For the most part he spent his time training or training his son. Maybe it's cuz' he lost his only willing challenger, but Gohan felt it was because he lost the only person who even somewhat knew how his saiya-jin instincts and feelings worked. His only friend. Gohan remembered coming out here and catching that large fish with his grandfather after his father died the second time. He smiled as his eyes saw the beginning of the sunrise.

A figure was felt rather than seen fly through the air and land next to Gohan. "Hey Goten"

"Hey Gohan."

"Why are you here," Gohan asked without taking his eyes off the horizon.

"I was worried about you."

"Why?"

"It's not hard to tell that dad being gone has affected you the most." Only then did Gohan avert his eyes to look at his brother with a questioning face. "You stand out here every morning wallowing in your depression while the rest of your family worries about you."

"Why did you show up?"

"Videl and Pan asked me too Gohan. Do you need to talk about it."

"No I'm done here."

"Ok." As Gohan started to walk away Goten grabbed his arm," Have a good day."

" You too."

They hugged and flew their opposite directions thinking of each other and the rest of their families.

At Gohan's house Videl woke up with a draft and started to sit up. "Shhhhh. Hey hun." It was Gohan. He came in through their balcony door. He kissed her on the head. " I love you Videl. I love you very much."

They got up and walked out. Gohan wearing his training clothes, and Videl a silken negligee. Holding hands they walked down the stairs.

" DADDY!!!" A red and blue mass flew through the air hitting Gohan in the back and flinging him down the stairs along with it. As Gohan hit he floor bottom the blue and red mass, currently perched around Gohan's waist and sitting on his stomach, proved itself to be Pan, Gohan's daughter. " I love you Daddy." She bent at the waist and hugged him. She leaped off and hugged her mother. " Love you mommy."

"Hungry?" Videl asked. Nodding vigorously Pan smiled and ran to the kitchen table awaiting her meal. Gohan stood up and wrapped his arm around his descending wife and proceeded towards the kitchen. "She has to much of your father in her." Smiling, Gohan merely shook his head and walked to the kitchen basking in the glow of being a father and husband.
