Warmth of Another
Insomnia, what a pain it was, when the thought of a woman at her side kept her up late into the night. Tossing and turning, flipping this way and that, she cursed to herself flinging herself out of bed and down the hall. She knew if she got caught, there would be hell to pay, but she didn't rightly care, not even as her toe nicked one of the long area rugs, flipping it over…
Even then, she did not stop to rest.
She had other things on her mind, other places for her mind to be, and with a colorful grimace, she finally came to the door she wanted. She rattled the handle, jiggling it over and over, to disturb the woman sleeping inside. The sooner she was allowed access, the sooner she could finally find rest, and she would fine rest.
Come hell or high water.
"What do you want?" Mused dark hair, puffy eyes, that oh so tempting frown, Bella leaned in the doorway, blocking Rosalie's entry.
"Couldn't sleep." Rosalie said as she pushed Bella's door wide open, and with an open palm on the woman's chest she stepped forward, letting herself in. "Decided I'd sleep with you."
"And you think you can sleep here?" Bella asked, but she saw only fire in Rosalie's eyes.
"I'll know if I can, if only you'd be quiet." And like that, she was bundled in those warm blankets, trying to understand the feeling when quite frankly, it wasn't something she needed.
"Move over…" Bella made the order as direct as possible, but, in doing so, she realized the error of her ways. She cleared her throat when that all too pensive gaze reached her once more.
Agitating.
That was the only word for the emotion that flittered in Rosalie's heart as she moved not nearly enough for Bella's liking. "Get in."
"There's not enough room..." Bella complained, only to be yanked down forcefully, Rosalie wasting no time to cuddle into her.
"There," The vampire cooed, too sweetly for comfort, let alone safely. "Now shut up and go to sleep."
