Hibari was lying down on the roof of Namimori middle school sleeping soundly. Suddenly his hawk like eyes snapped open to the sound of someone running on the staircase to the roof. He looked to the door as it opened to reveal Chrome Dokuro, the new, and somewhat strange he thought, exchange student, with a yellow fluffy object in her hands. She looked around and spotted him then slowly ran over to him.
She spoke suddenly, "Umm Cloud man," she said while stuttering obviously nervous, "I found him," she started as she held her hands out to fully reveal the object in her hands. Hibari's eyes widened a little as he realised she was holding Hibird, who was cowering in what seemed to be pain, with her fragile dainty hands. He also noticed his bird had a small bandage made out of what seemed to be a piece of Chrome's uniform on his left leg.
He frowned, "What happened to him herbivore?" he asked sternly.
"He was hit by a wild baseball while he was flying toward the roof," she said nervously before she continued, "I caught him before he fell on the ground and brought him here."
"Hn" he answered briefly. He got up and walked over to the shaking female herbivore while the bird was being held protectively. He leaned over her hand to observe Hibird's behavior then held his hand out for her to put Hibird in. She quickly put him gently in his hands. He calmly and silently continued to stare at her as she twitched and blushed involuntarily under his gaze. He smirked.
"Herbivore, thank you," he said.
Chrome blinked. Did she just hear Hibari Kyoya say thank you? She blushed a crimson red. "Cloud man?" she started but was soon interrupted.
"Hibari Kyoya," he said bluntly.
"What?" she asked confused.
"My name it is not cloud man," he stated even more clearly.
"Okay K-Kyoya," she said nervously but then smiled as she said his name.
"Good herbivore," he said as he leaned in close to her face. She blushed even more as the distance between the two shortened and soon vanished. Hibari, after about a minute, chose to break the kiss. Chrome mumbled something he couldn't understand so he told her to say it louder.
"I said I am not a herbivore because I also eat meat Kyoya-kun," she said innocently.
A smirk apeared on Hibari's face, "Okay then omnivore," He paused, "I'll bite you to death." Then he kiss her again as she gave another crimson red blush.
