Link found himself in the Lost Woods one day. Somehow he got there without him realizing that he did. The woods were dark that day, with a weird shadow coming from the entrance. He then realized it was night. "This is confusing." he muttered under his breath. He headed toward the exit and ended up getting lost. "I thought I remembered this place!" He yelled to no one. Suddenly, a Stalfos appeared from mid-air. Link reached for his sword, but it was gone! So, he ran. Then two more appeared! Link ran as fast as he could to his house one he got out of there. He grabbed his sword and hurried out of Kokiri Village. "Something is wrong here!" Link yelled as he sped his legs as fast as they could go. He went to Lon Lon Ranch, but nothing was the same! It was actually a town, with shops and games! He asked around if anyone had seen Malon, but they never heard of her. He ran out, as he saw Soldiers coming because of a robbery, but he thought they were after him.
So, he went to the Castle to see princess Zelda and tell her that everything was wrong, but when he got to the Castle, he saw what he shouldn't see! The town was not a town! It was a Farm! Link was dazed from running and decided to see if he could find a place to spend the night. "Maybe the people in the farm will let me stay." Said Link. But when he got to the front door, an angry old man came to the door and sail "Yeah, Wadaya want?!"
Link said "I need a place to spend the night. Can I stay here tonight?" "NO!" Yelled the disturbed man. "GET OFF MY %^%$ PROPERTY!" Link left, saying "Whatever." He headed to the Castle, hoping the guards would recognize him. But when he got there, the guards said they never heard of Link, and he should go home because it was too dark for a kid to be outside. "But I need to see Princess Zelda!" Link said rather loudly. "Don't we all!?" said the guard. So, Link left. "This is odd. . ." Link managed to say before he was sucked into a portal and put at Lake Hylia. "What the heck?" Link said. Then he had an Idea! I can go see Ruto and ask her about this! He thought.
When he arrived at Zoras Domain, everything was the same. All the Zoras were there, and the ice wasn't frozen anymore! He went to the top of the chamber to see the princess. But she wasn't there! The King said she was gone and she would come back soon. "Then can I ask you a question?" He asked. "Sure" said the king. "What's up with Hyrule?" Link asked Quickly. The king replied "An evil spell was placed on Hyrule. All creatures are where they shouldn't be, and things are as they shouldn't be." "What can I do about it?" Link asked. "You can defeat the evil or Hyrule will stay like this forever." the King said sadly.
