Eterna Forest, where time stopped. It was revered as a beautiful and peaceful place, but also denounced as a puzzling maze by travelers in a hurry. But at least it was a comfortable enough place to sleep.
"I wonder what's beyond Sinnoh," Cheryl asked sleepily. "Sinnoh itself is so big, just thinking about what else is out there boggles my mind."
"Yeah." Dawn stifled a yawn, looking up at the sky. "It makes you feel so small, doesn't it? Kind of like a speck," she said. "What kinds of Pokemon do you think live outside of Sinnoh?"
"I've seen pictures here and there...some of them seem too far out to be true, though. Legendary beasts, a rainbow-colored bird that flies endlessly without stopping to rest..."
"Wow!" Dawn laughed softly. "If it doesn't stop to rest, I wonder if it'll ever be in Sinnoh?"
"Mmmm." Cheryl smiled, then frowned when she saw Dawn shiver. "Are you okay?"
"Just a little chilly," Dawn said. "Even during the summer the nights are always so cold."
Cheryl inched herself over until her and Dawn's sleeping bags were right next to each other, then dug a blanket out of her pack and draped it over the two of them.
"Here."
"Thanks." Dawn smiled, closing her eyes. "Goodnight, Cheryl."
"Sleep well, Dawn."
