A/n: Hello fanfictioners! This is my first fanfiction that I have seriously written. I am positively nervous and quite honestly afraid about how people will react to this. And I know that this is short, but this is just the prologue. It starts out like alot of these do, but I promise that it will branch out into its own story. Can I just say that I love how many people love Jasper/ Bella fics? I am pretty sure that there are as many of us, as their are Bedward or Jake/Bella fans! So, before I start to ramble on (even more) here's the prologue!

Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight, that delight belongs solely to Stephanie Meyer. But, I do own a Team Jasper shirt, and an unhealthy obsession for Jackson Rathbone. Umm... yeah, let's keep that between us, Kay?

Jasper pov

"No!" Alice screamed, her eyes glazed over. She was on her knees, clutching her head, shaking it back and forth, apparently disturbed by the vision she was having. "Please God, no, not this, " she whimpered out.

"What is it, Ali-cat? What did you see that could be this bad? Is the family okay?" I asked at vamp speed, worry evident in my voice. Her emotions were all over the place, all the way from heartbroken to horror. "Those are some pretty strong emotions you are throwin' out there, darlin'. You are too frantic, I can't calm you down."

"It's Bella, Jazz. Her future just disappeared!" She said frantically.

Even though Edward never let me near Bella, she has brought this family happiness. And, as much as I hate to admit it, the little human has grown on me. Her emotions are like an empath's dream come true, the purest love I have ever felt from a human. And, to hear from my best friend, and sister, that her future disappeared? The agony was almost enough to bring me to my knees. I have always felt a strange pull towards Bella, but have just written it off to a mixture between bloodlust and familial love, but as Alice said this, my chest felt like a blazing inferno.

I could literally feel my eyes darkening, and I knew that my beast, that I have kept locked up so tight, was coming out to play. I could feel him struggling to break free, and, knowing it was of no use to fight it, let him take control. I had to warn Alice, so that she didn't say something that could make him snap.

"The Major." I whispered as I felt him taking over.

A/n: Again, I know that it is short, but it's a prologue. I really hope to hear some response to this story. Does it sound interesting so far? Leave a review, please, so that I know If I should continue.
