Happy birthday! I can't believe how long, it's been! I miss you, hopefully one of us can visit each other soon! Hopefully, this is a lot cheerier than the last birthday fanfic that I wrote for you last year! Have a lovely birthday! I remembered that last year before your birthday then that this was the other Pokemon theory that you mentioned! Hopefully, you enjoyed this one! Happy birthday, Arvon, and have a wonderful rest of your day!

Moon beams graced the lake as the night wore on.

It seemed perfect weather for Clefable's to be out and about, skipping across lake beds, and leaving behind the trails of its shadows laughing eerily.

Gengars never strayed far from those they aimed to imitate and naturally they never wandered far from Clefables during these late nights.

Clefables were Gengars' preferred Pokemon to mimic, and those the sort of bond between one and its own shadow grew.

Clefables had learned long ago to deal with Gengars nearby and to not pester them as if they did, Gengars got revenge.

The relationship between the two Pokemon was relatively harmless as they both could never be able to hurt each other.

Clefable paused, just to turn back and check to see if its buddy of sorts was behind it.

There the Gengar stood, evil smirk in place, and the Clefable continued on her way with the resumed cheery steps of a content Clefable.

She'd be fine with her partner behind her even with his dark tendencies.

This bond of theirs was rooted in tradition as Gengars and Clefables had long gotten used to having the other there.

This Clefable spent his day wandering the slopes of mountains as the sky grew darker and darker still, content to spend his time where he'd always been.

He could feel rather than hear the steps of his Gengar behind him; she was never far behind.
Clefable didn't mind however that she hung near.
