Just a short drabble... Full of Destiel feels. Read at your own risk...

He stood there, bold as brass, looking upon us with his black eyes. The eyes of a demon. He stood there, just laughing to himself, slowly going insane. I tried pleading.
"I know you're in there, Dean, the real you." I spoke aloud.
"Cas," Sam put a hand on my shoulder, "He's not himself anymore," I turned to look at Sam – his eyes were brimming with tears. "Dean's rule always was that if it was killing, then we had to put an end to it."
"I know, Sam," I said, trying to sound like the situation wasn't affecting me, when really I was dying inside. Sam tried to smile a little, but it couldn't cover the sadness in his face as he walked over to his brother, who was standing on top of a parked car.
"I'm sorry, Dean, I have no choice..." I could hear the strain in his voice as he pointed the gun at his older brother's head and pulled the trigger...

Sam didn't stay. He needed some time to himself – he'd just put a bullet through his brother's brain, even I knew to leave him be for a while. Instead, I walked to the lifeless body of Dean, sat down and held his head in my lap. Tears streamed down my face as I pressed my forehead to his. "You are my sunshine," I began quietly, only loud enough for us to hear, "My only sunshine..." I placed a tender kiss over the bullet wound that had taken his life, "You make me happy, when skies are grey," I took hold of his hand and squeezed it gently. It was still warm. "You'll never know dear, how much I love you," I whispered, emotions threatening to take over. "Please don't take, my sunshine away..." The last word was choked out – it stuck in my throat. I pulled his body close, head nested into his shoulder as I cried... "I love you, Dean, my hunter, my savior," I whispered into his leather jacket.

"I love you too, my rogue angel," a croaky voice spoke after a few seconds.
"D-Dean?" Castiel looked into his hunter's face and smiled sadly. Dean's eyes stared back at him, bright green but pained.
"I messed up, Cas," he groaned, paralyzed.
"It's okay, Dean, everything will be okay," Castiel kissed him softly on the lips. "Just rest,"
"Okay, Cas," Dean smiled through the pain, drifting off once more. "I love you,"
"I love you too," Castiel answered as Dean closed his eyes for the final time...
