As Mizuki was walking up to her schools building, a desk was thrown off of a high ledge of the building. She couldn't tell who it was since the sun was too bright and hid the face. When she walked into the classroom with her desk and chair, every student threw erasers at her. They all teased and called her names. When she went to sit down after situating her desk and chair, someone pulled the chair out from behind her so she fell onto the floor. Then the teacher came in. "Miss Tanaka, please take your seat." said the teacher. Mizuki got her chair back and sat down. The short amount of free time where the teachers were switching rooms, the entire time, all of the kids were picking on Mizuki. She could tell she wasn't going to like this school. At lunch time, she ran up to the roof and look at the sky. "Don't worry mother.. I'll adjust.. Don't worry." she said to herself. "Look who's on OUR roof girls!" said a voice that sent a chill down Mizuki's spine. "Why don't you jump off? No one likes you. Go die you poor girl!" said what seemed to be the leader of the girls. All the girls surrounded her. They kept repeating mean things like "Go die!" and "Your worthless!" Then the bell rang. When she returned to the room, the teacher wasn't there yet. When she noticed the chalk board, it had all kinds of mean things written about it on her. She got up and tried to erase it but there was no eraser. She then started wiping the board with her hands and sleeves. The teacher walked in again. "Miss Tanaka, how many times in one day will I have to tell you to take your seat?" she said in a firm voice. Mizuki took her seat. After school ended, Mizuki ran home and shut herself into her room. She didn't come out once. "Mizu-chan! Mizu-chan? Dinner is ready!" her mom would call. Mizuki didn't answer at all. She just sat in her room and cried herself to sleep.
